Week 1
During week 1 of this module we were all put into groups of 11
students, 6 students from CGMA (Computer Games Modelling and Animation)
and 5 students from CGP (Computer Games Programming).
Once
the groups were all together we then had a lecture on what was needed
for this module and what we individually had to do as well as group work
that had to be done, this includes group meetings with members of the
group which we will talk about ideas and what we think as a group would
be a good idea for a game. We decided as a team that team meetings would
be Tuesdays and Thursdays, any other contact with the group will be
made through internet, Facebook etc. This game can be any sort of genre
as long as it contains chaotic and pacifism elements which basically
means you can't have anything that involves killing or murdering etc.
but it has to have chaotic features like certain amount of time to
defuse a bomb etc.

We spoke after Thursdays lecture about our game having a cartoon style to it, so similar style to dc universe online, team fortress etc. On Sunday I looked for some ideas that I thought would be a good idea. I came up with few ideas and created some mood boards of what I thought would fit well with the genre we were going for.
This is a mood board I did of a few of my favorite sort of cartoon games that are out there. There are many more cartoon style games to look at though.
Here is another mood board I did but this time I went for cartoons on TV and picked my favorite also just for more ideas that fit the genre.
The final mood board I did was of platform games both 2D and 3D. I know the group mentioned platform games so I just got few examples.
